Determine Your Load Type
ACE Phase Converters can be used to power any type of 3 phase load,
including multiple loads on the same converter. The first step in the sizing process is to determine
what kind of 3 phase load(s) you have. Loads are categorized as either inductive, resistive, cnc, or a motor type load. If it is a motor
load, we will need to determine which type (1, 2, 3 or 4). Using this selection chart you can lookup your
type of equipment and it will tell you the load type. Once the load type is determined you can move on to step 2.
Select the ACE Phase Converter Model
Now that you have determined what type of load your
equipment is, you can use our product selection
page to match your load specs with the phase converter specs. Scroll down the page until you find a model that
is equal or greater in capacity to your load. Do not ever size a converter smaller than your load, or it may
result in a product that will not work for your application.
